STK 10029 1954 Seeburg Model R Jukebox
STK 10029 1954 Seeburg Model R Jukebox
Justice Seeburg joined in the manufacturing of jukeboxes in 1928, but in 1949 he revolutionized the industry by engineering a mechanism that could play both sides of records. He also introduced the first jukebox to play 45s. This particular original 1954 model of Seeburg jukeboxes is the most sought after jukebox model of the 1950's and is available through the collection of Dennis Carpenter. It has been completely restored with new buttons and chrome. The Model R plays 45s and can be set on either coin-operated or free play. This jukebox comes with keys and the 45s that are in it. One of the keys for the back has broken inside the lock, but it will still turn to lock/unlock. ALL ITEMS SOLD "AS-IS".
