STK 10032 1946 Rock-Ola Model 1422 Jukebox
STK 10032 1946 Rock-Ola Model 1422 Jukebox
David Rockola started making jukeboxes in 1935, and introduced a series of "Luxury Light-up" in 1939. At the end of World War II, it was party time and Rockola introduced the "Magic Glow" series. This original 1946 model 1422 was a part of that series and was termed "The Phonograph of Tomorrow". Coming from the collection of Dennis Carpenter, it has been completely restored and rechromed, and has some of the most intricate details and designs of all the Rock-Ola jukeboxes. This model plays 78s either coin-operated or on free play. It plays well and comes with the records that are in it and the original Rock-Ola keys. ALL ITEMS SOLD "AS-IS".
