Highlights of the evening included the presentation of 11 tributes to members of the NASCAR community, including Lifetime Achievement, Founders Tribute, Pioneer Tribute, Iron Man Tribute, Lifetime Media Tribute, Future Legend and Driver of the Decade (1950s, '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s). Don Johnson hosted the special which commemorated NASCAR's first 50 years through a series of entertainment performances, video productions, and tributes.ESPN "SportsCenter" anchors Dan Patrick and Kenny Mayne participated in addition to a list of show business personalities.
