The Cushman Scooter company began manufacturing scooters in 1936 to increase sales of their engines during the Great Depression. By the 1950s it was the most desirable scooter in the United States. They decided to design a scooter more like the big American motorcycles, which brought about the Cushman Eagle. This 5 HP 1953 Cushman Eagle is dark green Model 765 with a cream seat. VIN# 082022.
